2019 and 2020 saw the emergence of the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19. As a result, BC was Shut down and several First Nations Communities went into lockdown to limit the chances of the virus entering our Communities. Gitwangak was one of those Communities. Being that we want to ensure our Community Members stay Healthy and Active, we utilized our Facebook Group to encourage Community Members to stay Active through Prize Giveaways each month.
